Construction is either Bolt-On (BO) or Set-Neck (SN), with your choice of 4, 5, 6 or 7 strings.

Standard features on all basses:

- 35" scale length
- 24 frets
- Graphite reinforced necks with dual action truss rods
- Hipshot hardware
- A long list of wood choices (see below for more info)

WOOD CHOICES

Body woods come in two categoies. The body "core" wood will set the tone of the overall sound; the top wood will enhance the tone as well as visual aesthetics. Both pieces are of equal importance and the overall sound of the bass will be determined here. An option accent veneer line can also be layered between the core and top for additional beauty.

Neck Wood Options:

The Sage neck is a three-piece construction of quarter-sawn, and rift-sawn material, giving our basses a neck that opposes stress from all directions. To further resist neck stress, all basses come standard with graphite stiffening rods and a dual action truss rod.

FINISHES

Our production backround is in finishing. We offer endless options, and pride ourselves on the quality, and clarity of our finishes.

Standard Finishes:
- Clear Nitrocellulose lacquer, Catalyzing Oil

Premium Finishes:
- Transparent stains, transparent laquer colors, sunbursts, and custom graphics



ELECTRONICS

Working with the best in the business, we custom craft a variety of tonal options with our pickup and preamp selections. For the player that wants a simplified electronics package, we have Passive options.

Standard Pickups/Preamp:

- Bartolini BC series soapbars, X series single coils, or a bombination of both. 2 or 3 band preamps
- EMG Extended Series pickups. 2 or 3 band preamps
- Aguilar 2 or 3 band preamps

Premium Pickups:

- Aero single coil or humbucking soapbars, hidden or exposed polepieces, optional contrasting or matching wooden covers. These are our #1 selsction for passive pickups, but work equally as well with a preamp. Each set is made to order and we appreciate the exacting work Larry and his crew delivers.

Electronic Controls:

- 2 Band Controls - Volume, Blend, Stacked Treble/Bass
- 3 Band Controls - Volume, Blend, Midrange, Stacked Treble/Bass

HARDWARE

All of our bridges and tuners are made by Hipshot. We use ultra light tuners, and A-style bridges. Black hardware comes standard. Chrome or gold harware is optional.

- Electrosocket jack housing with Switchcraft jacks
- All basses come with Dunlop Straplok systems
- Nuts are made of Graphite or Bone
- Metal knobs come standard, wooden knobs optional
- Backplates come standard in satin black plastic. Wooden backplates optional
